The story of the King's first ever tour in 1954. Told through original Elvis Presley voice recordings, re-enactments and interviews with those who witnessed the beginning of the career of the King.

Recorded on the 3rd April, 1956 on the deck of the USS Hancock, this previously lost performance features a young Elvis Presley accompanied by Scotty Moore, Bill Black and D.J. Fontana. Milton Berle and Elvis also perform a classic comedy spot together. 

This programme 'Sun Days With Elvis' looks at the early days of Marion Keisker and Sam Phillips and their influence on Elvis. 'Elvis Presley's America' looks at the star's homes seen through the eyes of a British fan.
