Wow! Long meeting with Nick Dadd, without doubt the UK’s most qualified expert when it comes to Elvis’ time in Europe. We spent the morning discussing our forthcoming trip to Germany and how we can make it the most rewarding and enjoyable experience possible for those fans attending.

I am bursting to tell you that we will be cramming in just about everything that we know you’ll want to do and experience, plus more. There simply won’t be any free leisure time until you get to the end of each day to enjoy a well-earned drink or meal. We guarantee that we leave no stone unturned, and we will even be showing you where the familiar location shots were filmed for the 1960 movie, GI Blues.

I happen to know that Nick has just secured a FIRST for our visit, and he was so excited when he told me that I couldn’t possibly tell you how he phrased his first sentence! This, for now, will remain a surprise but I can assure you that it’ll be worth the competitive price of the trip on it’s own.

Book your place(s) now for just £539 per person (twin room – £79.00 single supplement pp).

The weather is usually beautiful in May, and we really do wish to avoid the crowds of the festival in August. It’s warm, tranquil and quiet when we stroll around the parks, shops and streets of Bad Nauheim in May. Please consider joining us for this wonderful trip to see every the sight in connection to Elvis’ time in Germany.

Diana Goodman Event

Our next BIG event will be on March 24th with a very special USA guest – Diana Goodman.

We’ve recently been asked several questions regarding whats on offer and the overall arrangements. We thought it might be helpful to post both the questions and answers online in order to help others who may be considering attending…

Q: I live in London and wondered how easy it is to get to Worthing, West Sussex.

A: If you are planning on coming by train (recommended) then it’s a quick 80 minutes from London Victoria or London Bridge. The trains are direct to Worthing, so you don’t need to change. They are also very regular. We are 60 miles south of London so if you’re driving it’ll be a couple of hours via the M23 and A23.

Q: Is there parking at the venue?

A: Yes, lots of free and secure parking.

Q: Can you recommend a hotel in Worthing so we can stay overnight?

A: We have plenty of great places to stay in Worthing, including budget hotels like Premier Inn and Travelodge. Have a look on trivago.com or bookings.com to book.

Q: Will there be food?

A: Yes, a fantastic hog roast. We served the same delicious food at our last event and it was a huge success. The plates were piled high with roast pork, coleslaw, BBQ beans, apple sauce and jacket potatoes. Everybody was amazed at the value, and we even took a large amount of leftovers to a homeless shelter after midnight. Please remember that this is included in the ticket price. We could have halved the ticket price, but you’d have more-than-likely ventured elsewhere to eat and paid more. We’d rather everyone enjoys a great meal together with Elvis music.

Q: Will there be a bar?

A: Yes, there is a fully licensed bar. Don’t forget that you will have a complimentary glass of champagne (or orange juice) upon arrival.

Q: Will you be showing rare footage again?

A: This was a highlight of our last event for sure. I have some material that will simply blow you away… guaranteed. The huge screen and the incredible sound system feels like you are really at an Elvis concert. I’m personally very excited about this particular part.

Q: Will we get the chance to personally meet Diana Goodman?

A: Of course! Diana will be interviewed on stage initially, then there will be a chance for everyone to meet her personally and have photos taken. There will also be 8×10 photographs of Diana with Elvis for you to purchase and have autographed.

Q: Will there be a disco?

A: Again, a hugh highlight. One of the best all-Elvis DJs in the country, Shayne Driscoll, will be keeping the dance floor packed. Let’s hope he treats us to his ‘Elvis around the world’ segment. Always a lot of fun!

Q: Do you take credit card on your stall?

A: We have the UK’s largest and most impressive Elvis memorabilia stall with all the latest FTDs, CD, books, boxsets available. It’ll be beautifully displayed and yes, we take all major credit and debit cards.

Q: Can I pay on the door, and if not how do I get tickets?

A: All tickets must be obtained in advance so we can calculate food, bubbly and seating. It’s very simple to book. Just go to the ‘events’ page. Go from there!

Any further questions, just ask.
