Myself and Nick Dadd are constantly coming up with fresh, new things to ensure that this trip is the best yet. Barely a day goes by when we are not either on the phone or messaging each other with some kind of plan to make sure that our fellow travellers have the ultimate experience with us this coming January.

Along with the incredible team at Arena Travel, we have already secured a superb few days, packed with amazing surprises, special guests and unique experiences. We are all as excited as those that have already booked with us.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to celebrate in Memphis the 85th birthday of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Staying in Downtown Memphis in fantastic Holiday Inn you can immerse yourself in ‘all things’ Elvis by day and soak up the atmosphere of iconic Beale Street by night. It’s all just yards away!

Elvis’ birthday promises to be a highlight! Join fans from across the globe at Graceland before returning to his humble beginnings with a truly special visit to Tupelo.

Meet your fellow Elvis fans at London’s Heathrow airport for a scheduled flight across the Atlantic to the United States and onward flight to Memphis, Tennessee. It’s then just a short coach transfer to Downtown Memphis where you’ll check in to the Holiday Inn for a 7-night stay.

What better way to start this fantastic holiday than a full day exploring Elvis Presley’s Graceland! Your Elvis Experience Tour includes a visit to the private retreat of the King – the iconic Graceland Mansion. You’ll also enjoy full access to the all-new Elvis Presley’s Memphis Entertainment Complex where exhibits include his favourite automobiles, wardrobe with stunning jumpsuits, memorabilia from his movies, and hundreds of photos and artefacts showcasing his extraordinary career.

Let’s all hang-out in the evening at one of the finest restaurants (and one where Elvis himself would order the dry ribs to enjoy back at Graceland). The Rendezvous is right next to our hotel, and some super guests have already been invited. This is what makes our holidays so great – the chance to actually spend time with Elvis’ close friends and family. Very, very special indeed.

Your Elvis experience continues with a full day guided tour of the musical icon’s Memphis. Lifelong Elvis fan Andrew Hearn, who is the author of the guidebook ‘Follow Me To Tennessee’, and our own Nick Dadd will seek out everything Elvis showing you where he lived, where he went to school, the places he performed and his favourite restaurants.

No doubt, if you’re not to exhausted, we will all arrange to meet up for dinner and drinks. Andrew and Nick just love to tell Elvis stories until late into the night across the street in the famous Peabody Hotel lobby.

Today you have the chance to join an optional excursion to the music city of Nashville where legendary country music venues include the Grand Ole Opry House, home of the famous ‘Grand Ole Opry’ stage and radio show, and the Ryman Auditorium. You’ll enjoy visits to the Country Music Hall of Fame, RCA Studio B – the iconic recording studio that launched the careers of many great performers and the Musicians Hall of Fame, which has its own incredibly important bit of Elvis history!

A day at leisure and a chance perhaps for you to discover some of the other excellent attractions Memphis has to offer. The National Civil Rights Museum, the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum, Mud Island and atmospheric Beale Street are all within easy reach of your hotel. Alternatively, you may like to join Nick Dadd on a walking tour of Downtown Memphis where he’ll show you many little-known and rarely visited sites related to Elvis.

Evening? Drinks anyone? After all we are based in downtown Memphis, so no need to worry about cabs or travelling to where the nightlife is.

January 8th and a chance to celebrate what would have been Elvis’ 85th birthday! Join Elvis fans on the front lawn at Graceland and take part in the official birthday proclamation ceremony. Then it’s off to where it all began!

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Tupelo, the town where Elvis was born and lived until he was 13 years old. You’ll see the places significant to his life including his home, the school he attended and Tupelo Hardware where his mother Gladys’ bought his first guitar. The tour ends at the Elvis Presley Birthplace – an impressive and tastefully landscaped complex housing the tiny ‘shotgun’ wooden home in which he was born, the first church he attended, the Elvis Presley Museum, Memorial Chapel and Visitor Centre.

Your time in Tupelo promises to be truly memorable as, courtesy of Essential Elvis UK, you’ll be joined by two very special guests indeed. Wayne Mann is a first cousin of Elvis. His mother Lilian was Gladys Presley’s sister and the families’ lived virtually next door. You’ll also meet Janet Smith whose father Johnny was Gladys Presley’s brother. This truly is a unique opportunity to meet Elvis’ family members and hear their stories first-hand!

Elvis’ Circle G Ranch in Walls, Mississippi is your first visit today. You’ll see the ‘honeymoon’ cottage where Elvis and Priscilla spent so much time as newlyweds, the famous white cross, and the iconic white bridge over the lake that Elvis and Priscilla loved so much. This was also the spot where Elvis lost his wedding ring!

Back in Memphis you’ll visit the legendary Sun Studio. The Memphis landmark, where an 18-year old Elvis Presley recorded his first song, is considered the birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Next stop is Lauderdale Courts where a teenage Elvis lived with his parents and then the Tennessee Karate Institute. You’ll enjoy yet another unique experience at the fabled martial arts institute, which was both co-founded by Elvis and where he trained.

At the end of this unforgettable holiday packed with Elvis experiences you’ll have a morning at leisure. Time perhaps for some for last-minute shopping and to take in the Christmas decorations at the famous Peabody Hotel. You’ll then return to the airport for the flight connecting with your overnight transatlantic flight back to London.

Early-morning arrival into London Heathrow.
