Southbound (Luxor LP 4931/3)

Recorded live at the Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia on August 31st 1976

Now available on vinyl, ‘Southbound’ was originally released in 1998 and featuring the August 31st 1976 show from Macon, Georgia. The 7th tour of 1976 was not known as being the best tour in Elvis’ career. During this particular show Elvis appeared demotivated. He was definitely struggling to get to the end of this tiring engagement. Most likely the crowd never even noticed his fatigue as they went wild like always, even though Elvis delivered a mediocre performance. Still, it’s a part of Elvis’ legacy and it deserves a release on vinyl

Twenty-two years after the original CD release it’s now time for a high quality re-release of this performance. For the very first time this show is now available as a fantastic double vinyl set

The show is newly remastered and updated in the best way possible. This release is very limited and is available in RED or BLUE vinyl, presented in a gatefold sleeve. And of course, the show is also included on a bonus CD

For now this is the last release in the Luxor classic reissue series, but be ready for some nice surprises in the near future!
